Your HELP debt repayment is not known until you lodge your end of year income Tax Return, because it is calculated from your annual taxable income. You are liable for a HELP debt repayment if your adjusted taxable income exceeds the minimum repayment threshold.
Your tax refund estimate will only account for your HELP debt if you added your HELP information correctly. If you have made payments or salary deductions through the year, the ATO views this like a ‘down-payment’ on your tax liability. Later, they will compare those payments with your tax return and decide whether you need to pay more – or get a refund.
Yes, you can complete prior to 2013 and future years.
Every year, our service is updated to reflect any changes in taxation law, so each year’s tax return service is available from 1st July of that year.
(This means for example, that your 2019 tax return can be lodged from 1st July 2019). All details you record are maintained in our secure database for the following year, meaning you only need to amend details that have changed since the previous year, saving you time on your next return.

You will receive a confirmation email that your Tax Return has been submitted to ezytaxback.com. Then a member of the team will review your Tax Return to ensure it is ready to be submitted to the ATO.
We will email you a confirmation when it has been lodged with the ATO. This process usually takes between 24-48 business hours from the date you submit with ezytaxback.com.

Yes, you pay the standard fee of $199 at completion when you submit your Tax Return to ezytaxback.com This can be paid via credit card or through PayPal.
No, the fee must be paid via our online payment facility prior to submitting your Tax Return.
No, there is no need to send documents to us. However, you will need to keep your records for at least 7 years from the date you lodge your tax return.
